1. Everyday, someone commits a “sin”. It is inevitable. No one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. It mainly depends on how we are feeling and what the situation is, which then makes us commit these acts. My central idea is to show how strong these acts of “sin” can become manifested based on how we can feel, and what they can make us do. It’s going to show this by, combining some of these sins and show how adding a specific color or symbols that can ensure what is being done in each image. Especially, in the tone of the colors that can give off a mood. If the colors are dull then the scene is depressing while if the colors are bright it can show of as a exciting scene. Value can show which place in the image is going to be sticking out. Mainly, its going to show expression, in the face and body. Actions speak louder than words.
2. The principle idea of my concentration is to have in each photograph have a strong view and knowing on which sin is being represented. In the first image the act of sin with be represented as a young woman who looks “wasted” and is looking for pleasure. She is going to be holding a bottle of liquor and have writing on her chest. There would also be red flower petals around to signify her being broken and looking for something fierce. Her smile looks playful and if she is having the time of her life. In another image there would be a young woman looking at herself in the mirror. She has a confident face, reflecting from the mirror. While another, will represent murder. It will be a tripic, 3 different poses showing the same message, enjoying her bath in her victims red blood. The fourth one will be of her, with an irritated face, looking straight at you. She is showing her irritation in different languages, and one face expression, since all expressions are the same all around the world. Another example is, having food around her mouth and fingers, desperately eating more. The representation of these acts of feeling with be with the symbols place in the background of the photograph, the colors, and the type of clothes the girls will be wearing. Like if they would have baggy messed up clothes or fancy clothing. The type of facial expression that will be shown in the photograph will set the mood and how the viewers sees the models feeling.
